Surya Eye

Surya Eye was inaugurated through the pious hands of our spiritual guru Shri Haribhai Kothari on April 1998. Ever since, Surya has grown from strength to strength making a significant contribution to eye care in India, answering every senior citizen’s right to convenience with regard to eye treatment.

At Surya, extensive research is been done on a war-footing in the field of Paediatric Ophthalmology. We have perfected the technique of effectively addressing eye complications arising due to Diabetes. Our fusion of modern medicine with the healing power of  nature have helped create the perfect synergy of body and soul, resulting in healthy vision and all-round well-being.

We have added a human touch to eye care by blending the warmth of tradition with the dynamism of western laser technology. Our work on Children’s Eye Care and the use of information technology in the prevention of eye diseases has been accepted at various National and International Conferences.

The Surya Eye Institute & Research centre has been certified by TUV CERT of Germany for its Quality Management System for provision of Ophthalmic services in the field of Microsurgery, IOLs, Squint, Paediatric Ophthalmology, Intensive Eye Care & Community Ophthalmology as per the latest International Standard ISO – 9001 : 2000.
And is also the first Eye Hospital in Mumbai to be awarded the ISO certification.
