"Our vision is to ensure the right to clear eye-sight for every child in the country. And we aim to accomplish it by bringing about a greater awareness in the minds of parents towards early detection of symptoms, general prevention procedures and cure."
Care4vision is an extension of this very vision
Care4Vision
Care4Vision is the fruition of a movement inspired by Dr Vinod Goyel M.S (Ophth) FICS (USA), with the sole aim of revolutionizing paediatric eye care treatment in India.
It is truly dedicated to finding a permanent solution to the far-sightedness or near-sightedness of 20 out of every 100 schoolchildren and vision related problems of 5 out of every 100 children afflicted with the disorder.
It is also an endeavour dedicated to enhancing greater awareness levels in parents with regard to prevention through early detection of symptoms; and cure through the various camps organized in schools for that very purpose.
Camps such as ChildVision 2006, which involves circulating eye check-ups forms in schools for parents to fill in, to access the health of a child’s eye. Conducting vision exams on those found with abnormalities, to determine clarity of their sight and their ability to see clearly at a distance & close-up and then going one step further to test for blurred vision and erratic eye movements.
So from now, drooping of the eyelid, tearing, discharge or redness of the eyes, jerky eye movements, reading difficulty, fatigue and poor sports performance in your children are things of the past.
Care4Vision is meant to care for you Child's Vision
Years of experience in eyecare has seen Dr Goyal notice a significant number of India's youth rejected from good jobs on account of poor vision and that too after being selected for it.
Moved by this rude shattering of a dream and a complete disregard of hardwork, Dr Vinod Goyal in his capacity as Medical Director of Surya Eye Institute evolved a comprehensive information technology
based questionaire to be filled by parents, that could identify children with normal eyesight and those with
a greater risk of blindness.
An exercise that would foster early detection and timely treatment, thereby guarranteeing no future heartbreaks.
